Easy - Peasy Scones & Biscotti Class
My friend and I attended a scones and biscotti cooking class, with Sharon. and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an evening of baking.
Sharon was incredibly enthusiastic. She walked us through the basics of dough preparation, sharing tips and tricks along the way. The hands-on approach was fantastic.
The scones and biscotti turned out beautifully. I made Lemon-Blueberry scones while my friend prepared Almond-Cranberry scones. For the biscotti, I went with pistachio, and Donna made almond with dark chocolate drizzle on the top. We happily shared our creations, so we left with a delightful assortment of flavors. Sharon encouraged creativity, making it enjoyable to mix and match ingredients. The class was incredibly well-organized, allowing time for questions, personal guidance, and lots of fun.
At the end of the class, we got to enjoy our creations with a drink, and the satisfaction of tasting our creations and chatting with Sharon was the cherry on top. We left with not only delicious treats but also new skills and recipes to try at home.
Thank you Nadine - I so enjoyed our time together. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or just to chat. I will brew a cup of Tea and then we can talk about another flavor combinations. Holidays are coming and I can't wait til I can make the Peppermint Biscotti!

Easy - Peasy Scones & Biscotti Class
Sharon always has a good in person class and her videos are great. She goes at a moderate speed on both classes and videos. I’ve taken several classes and am looking forward to taking more. It’s worth it to come from Fredericksburg.
I took this class because I love cinnamon rolls and thought it would fun to give making them a try. Not only were they delicious, but the class was also fun. I learned a lot of tips about baking in general and walked away with a new found confidence to make more things from scratch. After making these, I will never go to Cinnabon again!
I couldn’t believe I actually made these beautiful delicious eclairs and cream puffs!! Sharon is an excellent teacher. They didn’t last long once I got home!! This won’t be my last class!!
Fun environment! I learned the it doesn’t take two seconds to make a croissant. Has been on my bucket list for years and I am so glad I did it. Bought all the ingredients to keep this up at home! Highly recommend 💕
Thank you for the honest review Amalia. Life would be so easy with a laminating machine but everyday bakers won't have one so we have to go old school. So glad you enjoyed the class and look forward to hosting you again. ~sharon
I took my German friends visiting to the artisan bread class. We had a blast. Sharon was very well prepared and offered a number of alternatives. Will take another class in the future.
Thank you Ute for the review. So glad you enjoyed the class. We love all classes where you have something edible by the end. Bread happens to be in my top 5 especially with a butter or Jam. I loved hosting your friends from Germany. I spoke with another customer with 'German Roots' and we are going to bake here with some of those wonderful tasting foods you had access to. I will keep you updated. Thank you~Sharon
Reading the original info I had no idea we would come home with so much bread. I have made 2 loaves (which I gave as gifts). I still have 2 loaves in the freezer and the package of crusty bread still to make. Plan to use some as Christmas gifts. Sharon made it fun and was so encouraging to all the “students”.
Would definitely recommend.
Thank you Marilyn for recommendation! we are so happy you enjoyed the class and you had LOTS of Bread. I don't think thats a bad thing since you can freeze some or share some! Keep me updated on your journey. ~sharon
