Never Miss a Class Update or Recipe From Us
Sometimes inboxes get a little overprotective and send our emails to spam instead of your inbox. Here's the simple, step-by-step fix — takes about a minute, no matter what email you use.
If you signed up for updates from Culinary by Hobby Hill and haven't been seeing them, it's not you — it's just your inbox being overly cautious. Most email providers filter senders automatically, and sometimes that means real, wanted emails get caught by mistake.
The fix is simple: add sharon@hobbyhillfarm.co to your contacts or safe senders list. Find your email provider below and follow the steps.
Step 1 (applies to everyone)
Check your Spam or Junk folder first. If you see an email from Culinary by Hobby Hill there, open it and mark it Not Spam. That one step fixes it for most people.
Step 2: Pick Your Email Provider
Gmail
- Open the email from Culinary by Hobby Hill (check Spam or Promotions if it's not in your main inbox).
- If it's in Spam, click Not Spam.
- Click the three-dot menu in the email and choose Add to Contacts list.
- If it's in your Promotions tab, drag it into Primary — Gmail will ask if you want this for future emails too. Click Yes.
Outlook / Outlook.com
- Check your Junk folder for an email from us.
- Right-click the email, hover over Junk, and select Never block sender (desktop) — or click Wait, it's safe! if you're using Outlook.com's web version.
- For good measure, right-click the sender's email address and choose Add to contacts.
Yahoo Mail
- Check your Spam folder. If you find our email, open it and click Not Spam.
- Go to Settings > Filters > Add, name it "Whitelist," and set it to move anything from sharon@hobbyhillfarm.co straight to your Inbox.
iPhone Mail App
- Open the Mail app and go to your Junk folder.
- Find the email from us, swipe left, tap More, then Mark, then Mark as Not Junk.
- It'll move to your Inbox, and future emails from us should land there too.
AOL Webmail
- If our email is in Spam, right-click it and choose Not Spam.
- Open the email, click the sender's name to expand details, and choose Add Contact.
Once this is set up, you'll get our updates reliably — class announcements, recipes, and reminders — right where you can actually see them. No overhauling your inbox, just one quick, doable fix.
